"I chose the synthesis ending. In the citadel dlc, Jack tattoos Shepard and talks about a guy she was running with a while back. Something happened to the guy and the only way she found him was because he wore a unique type of boots. So she tells Shepard that with this tattoo (which looks really cool I should add), she'll be able to find him no matter what. So the way I see it, most of Shepard's armor was blown off in the last dash toward the beam. That's what Jack finds, not Shepard. She spent day after day, month after month, combing through the rubble with her students and former teammates. One by one they left till it was her and Garrus still searching. Garrus tells her its time to let Shepard go. This picture is Jack finally accepting that she can't keep her promise, that she can't find Shepard. The title I suggested (I'll Still Find You) was a twist of her feelings, even though she knows she can't find Shepard, she'll never fully stop searching."
